In 1977, Ralph and Emily Asp started Doors of Pontiac. A lot has changed since then. We have changed locations three times and have increased our personnel tenfold. Our two show rooms are open six days a week to make shopping for garage and entry doors most convenient for our clientele. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with many different garage door and entry door options. We offer entry door choices of decorative glass in steel, fiberglass, or wood doors.
We specialize in the largest parts department in Michigan where you can find opener parts, circuit boards, rollers, and other accessories. I asked Doors of Pontiac to send out a Repair Technician to replace a frayed cable on my two car garage door. Devon came out within the hour & he started off with a safety check of the door mechanism & gave me some suggestions. He set to work on the support cable & he replaced it quickly & efficiently. If you need a new garage door, Doors of Pontiac should be your first choice. I had several quotes and Pontiac Doors was not the cheapest. However, past experience with this company made my decision easy. From consulting with the office to installation of my beautiful new garage door was a A+ experience. The installation team was top notch. Dan and Devon did a spectacular job doing the removal and installation. They showed up early, respected my property and kept me informed. Repair or replace. I've had both experiences with these guys and they were quick, professional and had good pricing. I'm changing the garage door in my new house and I'm only calling them. Why change something that works?Additional review 12-18-20. They just finished with replacing my garage door, with a new insulated one, new lumber, new rails and a cool wifi opener. They haven't lost their touch. Super friendly, quick again, professional and a perfect installation. Still on my list as #1 company if I need any kind of door work!9-11-2024. We moved again and needed a garage opener. I called, got a quote, they sent out an amazing young man (Keaton) to assess.2 hours later I have a cool new opener. Excellent experience! We have dealt with Doors of Pontiac for years and would highly recommend them. Recently, we had an issue with a defective door wall glass that was installed 15 -16 plus years ago. The glass was still under warranty but due to system changes and various other reasons, the original job installation information was difficult to locate. Thru the perseverance of Karen, the job was located and it was verified that indeed the glass was under warranty. Thru the diligence, professionalism and very customer focused employees, we are very happy with the new glass. It took some time and effort, but we are very pleased with the final outcome. As usual, Doors of Pontiac met and went beyond to meet our expectations. Thank you.....Great Job!

Joe and an apprentice (Billy?) installed our new front door w/ sidelites yesterday. They removed and reinstalled an existing storm door as well. They were both polite, professional, efficient and did an excellent job. I was very impressed.Side note, Joe was very calm and understanding and a great teacher to his apprentice. As a sports coach to young kids, just listening to the way he explained everything was impressive. Not that Billy didn't understand, but having someone explain the reason for doing something so they actually learn the why is a great asset.
